The ECKL Diplomatic Encounters First Lecture

KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific (KSI) in collaboration with the Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur and The Star Media Group organised the Diplomatic Encounters, First Lecture delivered by H.E. B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia. This lecture, the first in the series, entitled “Diplomatic Encounters” would set a pace and a platform for presentations that would enhance not only bilateral relations on specific frontiers, but would contribute to a better understanding of the global perspectives, to steer Malaysia towards the aspirations of Malaysia Madani, the tagline of the present unity government.
India was selected to be the first in the series due to its proximity with Malaysia ad as India is recognised as a global power growing in influence, not only in the geo- pollical sphere, but also in the economic arena as well. As the chair of the G-20 Forum, India is in a lofty position to lead a group that accounts for about 85% of the world’s GDP. In his lecture, H.E. spoke on several areas of interest including:
